To learn more, call (208) 383-3110, or email.
"BOI Beacons", Treasure Valley
volunteers, greet airport visitors and help them navigate the
airport, not to mention be a vital role in providing excellent
customer service for the gateway to Southwestern Idaho.
Conveniently located on the lower
level of the rotunda near the rental car and baggage claim lobbies,
the information center provides assistance to arriving passengers,
visitors, "meeters & greeters," and the general public.
This is where you come in. If you
enjoy...
-
Meeting people from around the
globe
-
Being a team member
-
Sharing expertise and providing
information about the Treasure Valley
-
Serving your community
-
Working in a dynamic,
exhilarating airport environment, and
-
Expanding your own knowledge
about the area where you live you are a prime candidate to become a
"BOI Beacon."
While knowledge of a foreign
language or airport operations is helpful, it is not necessary.
Beacons receive in-house training to learn BOI operations and the
information needed to greet and assist airport visitors. Reference
tools are available at the information center. Upon completion of
training, BOI Beacons volunteer at the information center for least
one (1) three-hour shift a week on weekdays or weekends.
By serving as a volunteer, you
could make a world of difference in the traveling experience...and
save someone a few marbles.
