Boise Airport to Host Second Open House for Master Plan Study Update

Boise, Idaho – The Boise Airport will hold an open house on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 for their master plan study update. Two identical sessions will be held to offer the public more flexibility to attend.

Time: 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Boise River Room (third floor of the Boise Airport)

The focus of this open house will be aviation forecasts and airport inventory and will include multiple display boards with information regarding the purpose and goals of the master plan study update. A presentation is not scheduled but staff and consultants will be available to answer questions regarding the study. The master plan study update helps the airport prepare for change and looks at what future operations will require and what the airport needs to do to accommodate those requirements.

Parking will be validated. Participants must bring their ticket into the meeting to be stamped.

Special Note: This open house is not about military flying missions and associated noise. Citizens interested in the airport's noise study and FAA approved noise abatement solutions are encouraged to attend a January 25th Noise Study Open House.
