American Airlines To Begin Nonstop Service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport

Boise, Idaho – On July 5, 2017, American Airlines will begin nonstop service between Boise and Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The new service will operate once daily on a Bombardier CRJ700. The jet will have six first class seats, and 64 coach class seats.

“We are thrilled with American Airlines’ decision to increase their footprint in Boise”, said Rebecca Hupp, Boise Airport Director. “Additional Chicago service is a big win for the Treasure Valley’s business community and residents. American Airlines has hundreds of connections from Chicago O’Hare, making East Coast and international travel a little bit easier.”

American Airlines will join United Airlines as the two carriers providing nonstop service between Boise and Chicago O’Hare. Southwest Airlines offers nonstop summer-seasonal service to Chicago Midway.

Tickets will be available for purchase beginning Sunday, March 12, 2017.

American Airlines currently provides nonstop service from Boise to Phoenix and Dallas. Earlier this year, American Airlines announced they will begin flying a larger aircraft to Dallas/Fort Worth, adding approximately 30 seats to that market each day.
