Aeronautical Hangar Building and Ground Lease Opportunity

Request for Proposals

The City of Boise, through its Department of Aviation (“City”) is seeking proposals from potential tenants for the lease of one (1) hangar building for aeronautical use.

The sole purpose and intent of this RFP is to obtain proposals from interested parties desiring to lease the building and ground upon which to operate and maintain a hangar facility at the Boise Airport. The City may award one building and ground lease to successful Proposer(s) as further described in this RFP.

Existing Hangar Facility - Condition of Premises (“As-Is”)
The subject property consists of an existing aircraft hangar facility totaling approximately 13,023 square feet, situated on approximately ±1.02 acres.

The building includes:

  • ±9,600 square feet of hangar space
  • ±2,064 square feet of maintenance and storage space
  • ±1,359 square feet of office space

Hangar Door, Apron, and Access

  • The hangar features a full-width sliding hangar door system designed to accommodate large aircraft access. 
  • The facility is located directly adjacent to an active taxiway, providing airside access to the airfield and supporting aircraft movement to and from the hangar.
  • An existing apron area is located immediately in front of the hangar and is suitable for aircraft staging and maneuvering.
  • No apron expansion or improvements are included as part of this RFP.

Landside Access and Parking
The property includes landside access from W Aeronca Street. Approximately 34 vehicle parking spaces are available on-site.
