Business Opportunities
Marketing and Advertising
BOI makes a great first impression for the region and its many
businesses. Throughout the Terminal, businesses and community
organizations present their story with a variety of advertising
options from banners to multi-media. Advertising in Boise Airport
is handled by The Elizabeth
Younger Agency. You may contact their representative, Ms Sandy
Clark at 208-424-5651, or email her at Sandy@youngeragency.com.
BOI's advertising program stresses corporate partnerships in
conjunction with a public art program. The ticket lobby
mural, "River's Edge" and the routunda floor medallion, "Terra
Firma," were successfully sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank and the
Idaho Department of Commerce, respectively.
Another public-private partnership program is the Wi-Fi high
speed internet in all public places in cooperation with the
University of Idaho. The Idaho Business Review sponsors the
Airport's two business centers. In FY09, the marketing and
advertising program accounted for more than $433,000 in airport
revenues.
Concession
Programs
Along with the style and efficiency of the new Terminal
building, BOI stresses passenger services that are convenient and
reasonably priced, enhancing the image and reputation of
Boise. For BOI's food and beverage program, Anton Airfood,
Inc. brought its award-winning program to provide distinguished
local, regional and national brands as concession partners.
The Paradies Shops retail outlets offer many "Buy Idaho" products
in locally flavored and themed stores. The food, beverage and
retail concession program accounted for more than $1.1 million in
revenues for fiscal year 2009.
Parking Services
Providing customers with close-in parking facilities has been a
focal point for the ease and efficiency of Boise Airport. The
airport's 1,344-space parking garage and 532-space long term
surface lot are located across from the terminal building.
The Airport Shuttle lot, with more than 600 parking spaces, offers
discounted parking with frequent shuttle service to and from the
terminal.
The shuttle lot was expanded in early 2010, increasing the total
number of off-site parking spaces to 1,300. With easy access
via the new Orchard Interchange, the Shuttle Lot remodel also
provides restroom facilities and entry/exit plazas accessible by a
controlled traffic light.
Boise Airport serves a growing community. Strong
population growth led to the terminal expansion program in 1999 and
it continues to drive the need to expand the popular parking
facilities located at the terminal building. Boise Airport is
planning to expand parking facilities in the next couple of
years. The potential expansion includes construction of a
five-level parking garage with a full basement for car rental
parking. The new garage will provide an additional 1,600
public spaces and a new exit plaza.
