Alaska Airlines' Inaugural Flights to Idaho Falls and Las Vegas Depart from BOI Today

Alaska Airlines continues to grow in Boise with a pair of new nonstop inaugural flights departing today from the Boise Airport to Idaho Falls and Las Vegas.

“We are so pleased Alaska Airlines started daily nonstop service to Idaho Falls today. This route brings more intrastate connectivity to the residents and businesses of Boise and Idaho Falls alike—enhancing both communities and making business and leisure travel between our state’s major hubs even more convenient,” said Boise Airport Director Rebecca Hupp.

“We have deep roots in the Treasure Valley and our commitment to our guests in southern Idaho keeps getting stronger,” said Brett Catlin, vice president of network and alliances at Alaska Airlines. “Reconnecting Boise and Idaho Falls with nonstop air service will drive economic activity and enable further growth of our Boise focus city.”

Along with today’s inaugural flights to Idaho Falls and Las Vegas, Alaska Airlines has added several routes from Boise since it became a focus city for the airline, including service to: Burbank, Palm Springs, Chicago O’Hare, Austin, Pullman/Moscow, Phoenix and Everett, WA, just north of Seattle. Alaska Airlines now flies an average of 31 daily departures from Boise to 15 destinations—all nonstop.

Both of the new routes starting today will fly on aircraft that feature 76 seats, with no middle seats, every passenger has either a window or aisle seat. Tickets are available now at AlaskaAir.com.
